The Opportunity
We’re seeking a talented Software Engineer – Backend Development to further develop the server-side foundation of our RaptorOS platform. You’ll build scalable APIs, databases, and real-time data processing systems that power critical features for mining and construction operations. Collaborating with frontend and hardware teams, you’ll drive innovation by creating reliable, high-performance backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced APIs, microservices, and server-side applications using Python, Node.js, or C#.
Build and optimize databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) for efficient data handling.
Implement real-time data processing to support platform functionality.
Integrate backend systems with frontend interfaces, IoT devices, and cloud platforms (e.g., GCS, Apache Superset).
Enhance performance through code refactoring, query optimization, and robust error handling.
Maintain detailed documentation and follow Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in backend development, ideally with real-time or industrial systems.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or C#, with expertise in PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud), and protocols (e.g., MQTT).
Analytical mindset with a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.
Bonus: Experience with geospatial data or real-time analytics.
